Academic Requirements for Admission at the Undergraduate Level
1. Submit proof of graduation from an accredited high school with a minimum grade point average of 2.00 or its equivalent.
2. Present the results obtained in the Aptitude and English Achievement Tests offered by the Collage Board. Students whose first language is English will be able to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test, while Spanish-speaking students will be able to take the Academic Aptitude Test.
3. Obtain a minimum entrance index of 800. This is calculated in terms of the results of the exams and the index of high school.
4. Appear for an interview when necessary. If an interview is necessary for distance students who will take courses outside of Puerto Rico, it may be done through the means available to students. The interview will be supervised by a “proctor” located in the place where the student is, as determined by the University.
